Panelists

Dr Mihajla Gavin is a Senior Lecturer at UTS Business School. Her recent projects and publications have focused on teachers' working conditions, trade union strategy, and workplace responses to gendered violence. Mihajla's research has had a demonstrable impact through features in major media, expert testimony, and submissions to government and independent inquiries. She holds a number of leadership roles, including currently as Vice-President of the Association of Industrial Relations Academics in Australia and New Zealand (AIRAANZ).

Katherine Ravenswood is a Professor of Industrial Relations in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. She is a leading expert in employment relations and the impact of macro and workplace levers on pay equity and other diversity dimensions. Her research has extensively examined the impact of the care workers’ pay equity settlement and informs both national and international policy and research.

Sue Williamson is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management at UNSW Canberra. She is an expert on public sector workplace gender equality and has won international awards for her research. Recent projects include: examining merit in the public sector; public servants working from home; and women in public sector leadership.
